Paul Litherland, owner of Surf Online Safe, is highly regarded as one of Australia’s leading key note speakers on Internet Awareness. He was a WA Police officer for 20 years working within the Technology Crime Investigation Unit where he was involved in working with children (and their families) who were either the victims of online crime, or the offenders themselves.

On 21 August 2019 Paul will be speaking to our Year 5/6 cohort about cyberbullying, digital citizenship, social networking and online gaming. Later that night between 4:30pm to 6:00pm, he will be holding a parent presentation at Phoenix with a focus on how to keep kids safe online and minimising risk.

This is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed so put it in your diary now!

Paul’s parent presentations are always current, eye opening and offer some great tips and tricks on how to keep our kids safe online, as well as how to stay one step ahead of them in the online world. He offers parents practical ways of minimising risk, whilst still allowing our kids to navigate the internet and interact with their friends online in a safer environment.

We encourage you to join us for this very informative session to help your children.

Please RSVP to the school office on 9414 2100 or phoenix.ps@education.wa.edu.au to register your attendance.
