Paul Litherland, owner of Surf Online Safe, is highly regarded as one of Australia’s leading key note speakers on Internet Awareness. He was a WA Police officer for 20 years working within the Technology Crime Investigation Unit where he was involved in working with children (and their families) who were either the victims of online crime, or the offenders themselves. Paul is currently presenting to over 430 schools and organisations across Australia and we are extremely lucky to have booked him for later this year. On 21 August 2019 Paul will be speaking to our Year 5/6 cohort about cyberbullying, digital citizenship, social networking and online gaming. Later that night at 6:30pm-8:00pm, he will be holding a parent presentation at Phoenix with a focus on how to keep kids safe online and minimising risk. Parents from surrounding schools will also be invited and the cost will be a gold coin donation per person. This is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed so put it in your diary now!
